One of the largest millipede species in the world and a classic first millipede. Hardy, gentle-tempered, and widely kept. Well-documented captive care makes this an excellent entry point into tropical millipede husbandry.

Deep coconut fiber and rotten hardwood mix. Minimum 4–6 inches depth. Leaf litter on top.

Rotting hardwood, leaf litter, cucumber, sweet potato, carrot, squash. Cuttlebone for calcium.
